After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, Agawam was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Holyoke Purple Knights with a sharp 12-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Brownies considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Agawam's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Holyoke, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Agawam has already played their next game, an 8-6 victory against Hopkins Academy on the 11th. As for Holyoke, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-3 defeat against Hampshire Regional on the 11th.
