Volleyball Recap: Gregory Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Gregory and Burke squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Gregory had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Gorillas have suffered against the Cougars since November 2, 2023.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-13.

Gregory's defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-15. As for Burke, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-6.

Gregory does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burke, they will challenge Herreid/Selby on Tuesday.
