Basketball Recap: Savoy Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Savoy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 51-30 margin over the Valley View Eagles on Tuesday. While the Cardinals didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Savoy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.8 points per game. As for Valley View, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Savoy will take on Southwest Christian School at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley View, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Valley View Eagles challenge the Midway Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
