Volleyball Recap: South Gets the Win

South's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Douglas Patriots.

South's offense was headlined by Makayla McLaury and Alynna Lunsford, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Katelynn Brennan and her 15 assists. Allyson Felix-Santos controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

South's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Douglas, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lead-Deadwood on the 12th. As for Douglas, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Custer on the 12th.
