Soccer Recap: North Augusta Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for North Augusta's offense. They fell just short of the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats by a score of 1-0 on Monday. That's two games in a row now that North Augusta have lost by just one goal.

North Augusta dropped their record down to 1-7-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Brookland-Cayce, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Augusta will take on Airport at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Augusta is facing Airport at the right time seeing as Airport is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Brookland-Cayce, they will head out on the road to challenge Crestwood at 6:06 p.m. on Tuesday. Brookland-Cayce will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Crestwood will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's game.
