Basketball Game Preview: Flomaton Hurricanes vs. T.R. Miller Tigers

Flomaton is 2-8 against T.R. Miller since December of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Flomaton Hurricanes will be playing at home against the T.R. Miller Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Flomaton is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since January 23rd on Friday. They had to suffer through a 81-53 loss at the hands of Escambia County. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Blue Devils are ranked 132nd).

Meanwhile, T.R. Miller was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 44-39 to Thomasville. The loss was T.R. Miller's first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Flomaton and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for T.R. Miller, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Flomaton lost to T.R. Miller at home by a decisive 41-26 margin in their previous meeting back in February. Thankfully for Flomaton, Heath Kirkland (who went 7 of 15 en route to 17 points and seven rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
