Reese Kim put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has become a key player for Pasadena: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-9-1 otherwise.

Kim's effort led Pasadena over Burroughs and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
