Cane Ridge lost against McGavock back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ravens took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jeriah Webb was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Za'Riyah Crespo, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Cane Ridge now has a losing record of 2-3. As for McGavock, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cane Ridge will venture away from home to face off against University School of Nashville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Ravens' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for McGavock, they will challenge Hillsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders are facing the Burros at the right time seeing as the Burros are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
