Baseball Recap: Gibson Southern Titans vs. Evansville Central Bears

Gibson Southern won against Tecumseh last Thursday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Titans' pitchers stepped up to hand the Evansville Central Bears a 3-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Grant Stinson was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Collin Higginbotham also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
