Volleyball Recap: Timpson Comes Up Short

Timpson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Huntington Red Devils. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Timpson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-9.

Timpson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Huntington, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Timpson will challenge Atlanta at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Huntington, they will face off against Orangefield at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
