Basketball Recap: Rocket City Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rocket City hadn't done well against Tennessee Heat recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Rocket City Falcons snuck past Tennessee Heat with a 40-35 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three matches in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rocket City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allegra Borchers, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 20 boards. Borchers continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ella Turney, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Rocket City's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Tennessee Heat, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-13.

As of now, neither Rocket City nor Tennessee Heat have any future games scheduled.
