Soccer Recap: Winamac Takes a Loss

Winamac lost against Argos back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors came up short against the Dragons, falling 5-1. Winamac were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Liam Burton, which was the first he's scored this season.

Winamac's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Argos, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winamac will face off against Lakeland Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Argos, they will take on LaVille at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Argos' defense better be ready for this one: LaVille have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season.
