Basketball Recap: Pangburn Comes Up Short

Pangburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bald Knob Bulldogs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (57), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Pangburn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Bald Knob, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Pangburn will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Timbo at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2026. Pangburn will be up against Timbo's rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.68 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bald Knob, they and Beebe will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
