Volleyball Recap: Nicolet Falls Despite Big Games from Willow Braun and Andrea Krivomazov + How To Watch

After flying high against Waukesha South on Monday, Nicolet came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the Hartford Orioles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Orioles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Nicolet took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 27-25.

Despite the defeat, Nicolet had strong showings from Andrea Krivomazov, who had 13 digs and two assists, and Willow Braun, who had nine digs.

Hartford's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Francesca Ingram, who had 15 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Ingram a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shea Perkowski, who had 15 digs and two assists.

Nicolet's loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Hartford, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-20 record.

Nicolet has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Grafton on the 16th. As for Hartford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Whitnall on the 18th.
