After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kent Denver, the Manual Thunderbolts were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They snuck past Eagle Ridge Academy with a 56-51 win. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up eight more assists than your opponent, as Manual did.

Deshawn Fox was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nigel Jones, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Despite the loss, Eagle Ridge Academy saw an underclassman step up: Aiden Wanrow dropped a double-double on 22 points and 19 rebounds. Wanrow is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 17 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Pendleton, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two blocks.

Manual's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15.
