Softball Recap: Nettleton Takes a Loss

Nettleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots.

Nettleton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Palestine-Wheatley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Nettleton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Searcy at 4:30 p.m. on April 1. Nettleton is facing Searcy at the right time seeing as Searcy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Palestine-Wheatley, they have already played their next game, an 8-0 defeat against East Poinsett County on the 22nd.
