Basketball Game Preview: Henderson Lions vs. Carthage Bulldogs

The Henderson Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Carthage Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Henderson came up short against Kilgore and fell 57-48. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Carthage entered their tilt with Pine Tree on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Everything went their way against the Pirates as they made off with a 58-36 victory. 58 seems to be a good number for the Bulldogs as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Carthage, their victory bumped their record up to 15-13.

Henderson came out on top in a nail-biter against Carthage in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, sneaking past 65-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for Henderson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
