Soccer Recap: Papillion-LaVista Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 goals the game before, Papillion-LaVista was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bellevue West Thunderbirds by a score of 2-1. Papillion-LaVista were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bellevue West apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Papillion-LaVista's goal came courtesy of Kristine Skinner, who's now up to three this season.

Papillion-LaVista's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bellevue West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Papillion-LaVista is set to challenge their familiar foe Papillion-LaVista South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bellevue West will take on rival Marian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
