Basketball Game Preview: Calvary Christian Academy Lions vs. University Titans

The Calvary Christian Academy Lions will take on the University Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while University will be coming in after a loss.

Calvary Christian Academy is returning to their home court after beating Melbourne Central Catholic on theirs, despite the fact Melbourne Central Catholic has dominated at home this season. Calvary Christian Academy walked away with a 52-42 win over Melbourne Central Catholic on Thursday. The score was all tied up 17-17 at the break, but the Lions were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Tavares, falling 72-28. The contest marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

University's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Calvary Christian Academy beat University 64-53 in their previous matchup back in December of 2021. Will Calvary Christian Academy repeat their success, or does University have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
