Softball Recap: Fountain Valley Barons vs. Calvary Chapel Eagles
While Fountain Valley put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Calvary Chapel. Fountain Valley was the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over Calvary Chapel. The result was nothing new for the Barons, who have now won four matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Mazy Ascasio looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024.
