Ramon Guzman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hunter Delcour, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Jacob Johnson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Palmer came out on top against Houston on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Moose put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 9-3 victory. The Moose might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Like Wasilla, Palmer also got a great game from a two-way player: Reed Craner. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Craner also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Palmer is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise. Craner was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, Palmer let Wyatt Jacobs and Wyatt Beal run wild. Jacobs went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double, while Beal went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Palmer hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Houston struck out 14 times.

Palmer has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Wasilla, they pushed their record up to 15-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Wasilla has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Palmer struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Wasilla took their win against Palmer in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 11-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
