Fairfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.8 runs. Wood moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
