The win got Amarillo back to even at 2-2. As for Monterey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Amarillo will take on Abilene at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Abilene knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Amarillo likes a good challenge. As for Monterey, they will face off against Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Monterey is facing Coronado at the right time seeing as Coronado is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
