Galesburg-Augusta proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 15) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Gobles Tigers. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.
Jaden Fawcett made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk).
