Volleyball Recap: Bettye Davis East Anchorage Takes a Loss

Bettye Davis East Anchorage was the 2-0 winner over Kodiak when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Thunderbirds fell just short of the Bears by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Bettye Davis East Anchorage's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Kodiak, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-19-3.

Coincidentally, Bettye Davis East Anchorage and Kodiak will both be playing Nikiski the next time they take the court. The Thunderbirds will head out to face the Bulldogs at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 4:25 p.m.
