Volleyball Game Preview: Greendale Panthers vs. Muskego Warriors

The Greendale Panthers will take on the Muskego Warriors in a tournament on Saturday. Greendale is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Greendale took on New Berlin Eisenhower on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Lions.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Muskego came up short against Waukesha West on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 23-25, 25-18.

Greendale will have to contain Emily Nevins as she made an impact in Muskego's last game. She had 19 digs and three aces.

Greendale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Muskego, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

Greendale couldn't quite get it done against Muskego in their previous matchup back in September of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
