Football Game Preview: Vian vs. Sequoyah

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Vian. They will challenge Sequoyah on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Vian will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.

Vian put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Panama as the squad secured a 60-0 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-0.

Meanwhile, Sequoyah have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Pocola as they made off with a 34-13 victory.

Their wins bumped Sequoyah to 2-3 and Vian to 4-1. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
