South Point had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They put the hurt on the North Gaston Wildcats with a sharp 13-0 victory. South Point might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting North Gaston from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Jyi'Yanna Watkins led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

South Point's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five contests. As for North Gaston, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.
