While Sherando's victory against Strasburg wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rams 8-7.

Sherando is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Strasburg, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Sherando will head out on the road to face off against Millbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Pioneers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Strasburg, they will face off against Clarke County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
