Soccer Recap: Copper Hills Starts Season with Win Against Layton

Copper Hills had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the Layton Lancers 2-1. This was payback for the Grizzlies, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Copper Hills will head out to square off against Taylorsville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Layton, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Clearfield at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
