Basketball Game Preview: Legacy Lions vs. Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans

The Legacy Lions and the Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Somerset College Prep Academy likes a good challenge.

On Saturday, Legacy came up short against Morningside Academy and fell 64-56. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite their defeat, Legacy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Aiden Jaglal @Aiden.Jaglal, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 15 boards, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Reyes @WoahhhCaleb, who posted 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerset College Prep Academy). They took down Master's Academy 64-50 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won eight in a row.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-6. As for Legacy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
