Baseball Game Preview: Murdock Blue Devils vs. Gardner Wildcats

Murdock is 1-8 against Gardner since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m.

Murdock is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 27th straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They came up short against Tahanto Regional, falling 9-0.

Murdock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikey Quinn, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Gardner beat St. Bernard's Central Catholic 7-3 on Thursday. That four run margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Murdock's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Gardner, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
