Preview: Oak Forest Warriors vs. Chatham HomeSchool Thunder
Oak Forest has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Oak Forest suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against North Raleigh Christian Academy, falling 74-37.
Meanwhile, Chatham HomeSchool had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 88-34 win over DASH. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 59-14.
Zach Johnson was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke Coletta, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Oak Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Chatham HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
