Basketball Recap: O'Fallon Takes a Loss

After flying high against Collinsville last Sunday, O'Fallon came back down to earth. The O'Fallon Panthers took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenwood Titans. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

O'Fallon has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Glenwood, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

O'Fallon will be playing in front of their home fans against Belleville East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenwood, they will take on Mt. Zion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Zion is on a four-game streak of home wins, Glenwood a four-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
