Recap: Prescott Badgers vs. Flagstaff Eagles
The Prescott Badgers lost against the Flagstaff Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Prescott was dealt a 74-42 loss at the hands of Flagstaff. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prescott has scored all season.
Prescott's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rayne Libis, who scored 13 points. Ruby Jensen was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Prescott and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Flagstaff, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Prescott will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mohave at 5:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Flagstaff won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cactus Shadows at 5:30 p.m. on December 13th. Cactus Shadows is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
