Soccer Recap: Issaquah Takes a Loss

Issaquah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Skyline Spartans. Issaquah were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Skyline apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Issaquah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Skyline, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Issaquah will be playing at home against Newport - Bellevue at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Skyline, they will face off against Redmond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Redmond's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
