The biggest upset of the week belonged to Port Charlotte, who took down 100th ranked Charlotte, 13-0.
The Pirates moved up to 196 from 231 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 7A District 11. Port Charlotte climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Fightin' Tarpons 13-0.
Charlotte's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Fightin' Tarpons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brennan McGill has thrown for 955 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Dwight Reynolds has 23 catches for 406 yards. Clyde Newton leads the league in rushing with 1530 yards.
Lemon Bay took down Gulf Coast 33-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
