Volleyball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Pinole Valley Spartans. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Spartans when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-5, 25-20.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Pinole Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord will host Skyline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pinole Valley, they will square off against Saint Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
