Soccer Recap: Lewis & Clark Snags 11th Win in Last 13 Games

It's playoff time, and Lewis & Clark had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Tuesday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Lewis & Clark's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Gonzaga Prep are ranked 96th).

Evan Bowman and Lucas Kinder scored both of Lewis & Clark's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Lewis & Clark has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 15-2-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those 13 games. As for Gonzaga Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7-2.

Lewis & Clark didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Richland on the 15th. Gonzaga Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
