If Elberta was riding high fresh off their 14-3 takedown of UMS-Wright Prep last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 12-2 to the Headland Rams on Wednesday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Elberta's loss dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Headland, their win bumped their record up to 18-12.

Looking ahead, Elberta will take on Charles Henderson at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.22 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Headland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Faith Academy at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Headland will need to watch out since Faith Academy has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
