Soccer Game Preview: Perryton vs. Randall

Perryton is 0-7 against Randall since February of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Rangers will be playing at home against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Perryton has given up an average of 5.6 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Perryton fell victim to Borger and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Perryton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 756th, while Borger are ranked 186th).

Meanwhile, Randall kept a clean sheet against Hereford on Thursday. They blew past the Whitefaces 6-0. Randall might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by four goals or more this season.

Randall pushed their record up to 9-3-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those four matches. As for Perryton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
