Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Christian Crusaders vs. Cornerstone Christian School Cougars

Having just played yesterday, the Lincoln Christian Crusaders will get right back to it and host the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Cornerstone Christian School will be up against a hot Lincoln Christian team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Lincoln Christian was the clear victors by a 69-49 margin over Lincoln Northwest on Thursday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cornerstone Christian School). They blew past Omaha Christian Academy 69-35 on Saturday. The Cougars have beaten the Eagles the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Cornerstone Christian School pushed their record up to 9-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points over those games. As for Lincoln Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
