Basketball Recap: St. Andrew's Episcopal Comes Up Short

St. Andrew's Episcopal was the 43-33 winner over Puckett when they last played one another on January 10th, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 41-40 to the Puckett Wolves. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Andrew's Episcopal lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being William Johnson, who posted six points in addition to 12 rebounds and three blocks. Johnson has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Warwick Alley, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

St. Andrew's Episcopal now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Puckett, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.
