Baseball Game Preview: Stanley-Boyd Orioles vs. Cadott Hornets

The Stanley-Boyd Orioles will challenge the Cadott Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stanley-Boyd has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 8.

Stanley-Boyd came up short against Regis on Thursday, falling 22-2.

Stanley-Boyd saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Ewer, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Cadott hadn't done well against Bloomer recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Hornets had just enough and edged out the Blackhawks 3-2.

The win got Cadott back to even at 6-6. As for Stanley-Boyd, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Stanley-Boyd couldn't quite get it done against Cadott when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 5-1. Can the Orioles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
