Softball Recap: Pisgah Falls Short of East Union in the Playoffs

Pisgah and East Union squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Pisgah had to settle for second. They lost 12-1 to the Urchins. The Dragons have struggled against the Urchins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Pisgah saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ally Young, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Pisgah's loss dropped their record down to 26-10. As for East Union, their victory was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 30-3.

As of now, neither Pisgah nor the Urchins have any future games scheduled.
