Baseball Recap: Union City Takes a Loss

If Union City was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Tri on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against the Winchester Community Golden Falcons on Friday, falling 13-0. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Falcons from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Union City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Winchester Community, their record is now 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union City will take on Wes-Del at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Winchester Community, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Adams Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
