Central Magnet won the last time they faced Smyrna and things went their way on Monday too. Central Magnet came out on top against Smyrna by a score of 3-1. The victory was nothing new for Central Magnet as they're now sitting on four straight.

Central Magnet had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-22.

Emery Bland paced Central Magnet's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bland got some help from Madeline Porter and her 27 assists. Alexa Malone controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Central Magnet's record is now 19-7. As for Smyrna, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Central Magnet will venture away from home to take on Giles County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smyrna, they will head out to square off against Riverdale at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
