Midland got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They blew past the San Angelo Central Bobcats 11-1. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Midland, bringing their record up to 18-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for San Angelo Central, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Midland will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bobcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:10 p.m. on Friday.
