Baseball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Indian Lake Lakers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 11-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Indian Lake, their record now sits at 6-3.

Coming up, Northwestern will square off against Graham Local at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Lake will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' matchup: after the Warriors face off against the Falcons, they'll take on Indian Lake again at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
