Pioneer had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas as they made off with a 14-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Diamondbacks, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Pioneer pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
